Perform examination and assessment of post abortion clients including pelvic exams and labs when needed.  Consult with Physician when needed. Perform microscopic studies of urine and vaginal discharge as needed. Perform microscopic sperm checks (pos/neg only) for post vasectomy clients. Dispense medications and label drugs as required. This may include disciplinary actions, terminations and hiring of staff.8.      Responsible for implementing new Policies and Procedure as revisions  are made from the Medical Director and MD Sleep, LLC9.      Performs all aspects of Polysomnography, MSLT/MWT and CPAP titration studies based on Practice Parameters10.  Provides back-up for the acquisition technicians when needed11.  Prepares AASM application and prepares case studies to review for AASM site surveyor (if applicable) 12.  Prepares weekly, monthly & quarterly reports (QA, benchmarking, volumes, and referrals) 13.  Meets with new referring physicians and provides patient packets14.  Provides on-call coverage for patient scheduling problems and patient questions15.  Conducts monthly technical staff meetings 16.  Orders and re-stocks supplies (clinical and office)17.  Responsibilities are not all inclusive, additional duties may be assigned.  Daily1.      Continue to monitor bench marking numbers for referrals and tests completed on a weekly/monthly basis 2.      Continue to assess needs of the sleep staff, physicians and physicians staff for continuing education programs in sleep3.      Send articles in sleep industry to staff and physicians4.      Reviews previous evening studies for clinical and billing accuracy5.      Verifies uploads  to the Indianapolis Server and communicates with scoring technicians6.      Calls patients 48 hours prior to study date for welcoming and answers questions and to verify patient knows directions to center, documents action in Outcomes7.      Tracks scoring status and interpretation status 8.      Prepares center for night patients9.      Prepares charges for billing and collection and delivers to practice (if applicable)10.  Reviews interpreted studies to determine if second night study is required11.  Communicates with scheduling regarding second study status, no-shows or cancellations and AMA forms12.  Alerts DME office of special needs for patients requiring DME13.  Communicates with Medical Director regarding requirement for over reads as needed (if applicable)14.  Assists interpreting physicians with software training and troubleshoot issues that they may encounter Weekly 1.      Attends clinic coordinator and corporate conference calls to review best Practices2.      Prepares weekly referral/schedule/completion report for MD Sleep, physicians and  Medical Director3.      Organizes and attends weekly meeting or conference call with Medical Director4.      Facilitate Continuing education for technical staff 5.      Performs random quality reviews of acquisition techs6.      Sets acquisition technician schedules7.      Reviews and approves acquisition technician time cards and PTO request8.      Assures the maintenance and cleaning of equipment/supplies9.      Checks diagnostic equipment for proper calibration and schedule service calls as necessary10.  Verifies weekly charges and reconciles with practice billing staff11.  Meets with physicians to discuss interpretations or patient issues12.  Assures appropriate patient care information is in department records, medical charts, interpretations and follow-up notes13.  Visits physician’s offices to ensure proper screening and scheduling procedures 14.  Assists central scheduling with patient flow through center15.  Submits expenses to corporate finance department16.  Accumulates and reviews patient case studies Monthly and Quarterly1.      Organizes quarterly lunch meetings with all interpreting physicians and physicians staff for updates on sleep medicine  2.      Assesses and organizes patients and technician workloads3.      Serves as a resource for other health care professionals and the community4.      Prepares patient satisfaction summary and report to AVP and Director of Operations 5.      Verifies with billing that all charges are entered6.      Prepares referring and interpreting physician report7.      Implement and assess competencies of staff sent from the Director of Education 8.      Arrange monthly meetings with ABSM and staff doctors
